Plot Summary

Act 1: Introduction

The story begins in a small village named Kothapalli, where the villagers live a peaceful life under the protection of the village head, Narayana Murthy (Rao Ramesh). However, the village's tranquility is threatened by the ruthless landlord, Durga Rao (Prakash Raj), who is determined to seize the fertile lands of Kothapalli for his commercial ventures. Durga Rao's tyranny knows no bounds, and the villagers live in constant fear.

Enter Veera Raghava (Mahesh Babu), a charismatic and fearless young man, who is respected and loved by all in Kothapalli. Veera Raghava, having returned from the city after completing his education, is determined to uplift his village and protect his people from Durga Rao's oppressive regime. His arrival brings a wave of hope to the villagers, who see him as their savior.

Veera Raghava’s return also rekindles his childhood love story with Meghana (Anushka Shetty), the beautiful and strong-willed daughter of Narayana Murthy. Meghana is a doctor who runs a small clinic in the village and is dedicated to serving her people. Their love story is full of tender moments and deep emotional connections, set against the backdrop of the village’s struggles.

Act 2: The Rising Conflict

As Veera Raghava starts to challenge Durga Rao’s authority, he becomes the target of Durga Rao’s wrath. Durga Rao, who is known for his cunning and ruthlessness, tries various tactics to break Veera Raghava’s spirit. He sends his henchmen to terrorize the villagers, hoping to intimidate Veera Raghava into submission. However, Veera Raghava, with his unyielding spirit and sharp intellect, outwits them at every turn.

The tension escalates when Durga Rao decides to play dirty. He frames Veera Raghava for a crime he did not commit, leading to his arrest. This creates a rift between Veera Raghava and the villagers, as some begin to doubt his intentions. Meghana, however, stands by him, believing in his innocence and working tirelessly to prove it.

In a parallel subplot, we see the entry of Raja Shekar (Jagapathi Babu), a retired military officer and Veera Raghava's estranged uncle. Raja Shekar, who has a troubled past with Veera Raghava's father, initially distances himself from the village's issues. However, he gradually becomes a crucial ally in Veera Raghava’s fight against Durga Rao.

Act 3: The Battle for Justice

The second half of the movie focuses on Veera Raghava’s quest for justice. After being released on bail, he sets out to expose Durga Rao’s misdeeds. With the help of Meghana and Raja Shekar, he gathers evidence against Durga Rao, while also rallying the villagers to stand up for their rights.

Durga Rao, feeling the pressure, resorts to his final and most vicious plan: he kidnaps Meghana and holds her hostage, threatening to kill her if Veera Raghava doesn’t surrender. The climax of the movie is an intense and action-packed sequence where Veera Raghava, with the help of Raja Shekar and the villagers, launches a daring rescue mission.

The final showdown between Veera Raghava and Durga Rao is a gripping and emotional battle. Veera Raghava, fueled by his love for Meghana and his determination to save his village, confronts Durga Rao in a fierce fight. The battle scenes are choreographed with high-octane action and drama, characteristic of Tollywood’s larger-than-life style.

Act 4: Resolution and Conclusion

In the end, Veera Raghava emerges victorious, defeating Durga Rao and liberating the village from his tyranny. Durga Rao is arrested, and justice is served. The villagers, inspired by Veera Raghava’s courage, unite to rebuild their lives and their village.

The movie concludes on a celebratory note, with Veera Raghava and Meghana’s wedding, symbolizing the union of love, justice, and peace. Raja Shekar, who has reconciled with his past, decides to stay in the village and live a peaceful life, contributing to the betterment of Kothapalli. The final scene shows Veera Raghava, Meghana, and Raja Shekar standing together, looking over the prosperous and happy village, as the camera pans out to a beautiful sunset.
